Gigabyte GA-T1005M Convertible with Atom N550 On Sale in Australia


Australian e-tailer Penta has started offering the Gigabyte GA-T1005M, the first convertible laptop with an Intel Atom dual-core processor. The Atom N550-powered GA-T1005M features a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch display at 1366×768 pixels, 2GB DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
The 3.2-pound tablet PC sports a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a built-in antenna for optional HSDPA 3.5G mobile broadband module, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo, ExpressCard slot, 4-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output.
Gigabyte’s GA-T1005M is priced at 905 Australian dollars (around 800 USD, 630 Euros).
